About Support at Home

Support at Home (SAH) is the Australian Government's new program designed to improve the way aged care services are delivered, making in-home care simpler, more flexible, and more responsive to your needs.

The aged care system can be confusing and hard to navigate. Our dedicated team helps you access My Aged Care and Support at Home program funding so you can stay living in your own home for longer with all the supports you need to live safely and independently.

We manage your Support at Home package and help you access the services you need while staying on top of your budget. As an approved provider, we offer flexibility, transparency, and genuine care every step of the way.

Key Changes

What is Changing Under Support at Home?

The new program brings significant improvements to how aged care is funded and delivered in Australia.

The Support at Home program introduces eight funding levels to better match the level of care you need. This replaces the previous four-tier Home Care Package system, providing more tailored funding that grows with your needs.
A new Single Assessment System streamlines the assessment process, making it simpler and faster to access the care you need. One assessment determines your eligibility and funding level, reducing duplication and wait times.
Services are now organised into clear categories — Clinical Care, Independence, and Everyday Living — making it easier to understand what's available and how your funding can be used.
Funding is now allocated on a quarterly basis, giving you more flexibility to plan and adjust your care as your needs change throughout the year.
The new system introduces a fairer means-tested contribution model. Your contribution is based on your financial circumstances, ensuring everyone can access the care they need.
Dedicated funding is now available for assistive technology and home modifications, separate from your ongoing care budget. This means getting equipment like grab rails, ramps, or mobility aids won't reduce your care hours.
